WELCOME AND HOSPITALITY

Do you ever feel sad in life and there is nothing really wrong, you have food, shelter and clothing. And you ask the question, Lord what is wrong with me?

I’m reminded of that song, “I don’t know why I have to cry sometimes, but I’ll find out by and by. It seems like we are all alone in the world, sometimes we forget THE LORD’S PROMISES, HE already told us, I will never leave you or forsake you.

We forget we can lean on the everlasting arms, when He already told us to give me your burdens, and He told us to Trust In The Lord and lean not to your own understanding. But, there is a bright side, and that bright side is, Jesus Christ, the light of the world. The Lily of the Valley and the Bright and Morning Star, our comforter, our Friend that sticks closer than a Brother and the best of all He died on the Cross so that we could have a right to the Tree of Life.

It won’t rain every day and it won’t be Sun shiny everyday, but everyday we can worship. Praise THE LORD AND BE THANKFUL TO THE LORD.

“Is Anything Too Hard for the Lord?”

In Genesis 18:14 God encourages Abraham with this rhetorical question: “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” The answer: absolutely nothing! Over and over again God proves that he is not limited, not confined to circumstances. Despondent and discouraged Christians need to be reminded that God is a powerful God.

  • No Promise Too Hard for God to Fulfill;

  • No Prayer Too Hard for God to Answer;

  • No Problem Too Hard for God to Solve;

  • No Place Where God Can’t Send a Revival;

  • No Person Too Hard for God to Save.

    By Dr. Tom Malone, Pastor Emeritus Emmanuel Baptist Church, Pontiac, Michigan

    If we as Christians meditate on the above and believe this about our God, we should apply this to our daily lives. With God at the center of our lives, we would talk with Him in prayer, read the Bible, cultivate our dependence on Him, practice obedience, serve Him and others, and become His Ambassador.

    Please join forces with our Pastor and Pastor’s Aide Ministry to pray more for our church family to grow in Christ.
